God calling me? Get real!

Yes, God is calling you. Yes, I mean you!

If you believe that God created you, why do you have a hard time believing that he is calling you? Stop reading if you don’t believe God created you—if you think that you are some simple godless biological act. I can’t even attempt to convince you that God has a plan for you if you don’t even believe in him or that he had a hand in your creation.

Let each of you lead the life that the Lord has assigned, to which God called you. 1 Corinthians 7:17

If you don’t know it already, God is calling each one of us. Why? Because we each have a special, unique purpose in this crazy world we have shaped. God is trying to open up your eyes to that purpose. The problem is that if you don’t stop your world to listen for/to God, how can you ever hear him? How do you understand your purpose?

So, start listening for/to God. How? Open up your mind and heart. Start by taking at least 10 minutes of quiet time today. Start talking to God in prayer but don’t forget to listen. It’s that simple.

Don’t expect magic; you have to work at this. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. If you don’t take the time to listen, how can you expect to hear anything? If it’s not truly quiet time, how can you expect to hear God over the drone of the world?

I know that this sounds a bit crazy. However, if you trust me, you will hear God. Don’t expect some earth shaking moment around you. You’ll find God talking inside of you. Trust me—you will hear him in your life if you just take some real, quiet time to find him.

LISTEN!!! Understanding your purpose in life will make you so much happier, at peace, and fulfilled.

  1. Why is anyone talnikg about pathetic failure of religous beliefs? You might as well wallow in the dirt like some ignorant savages. The time for being controlled slaves is 100 years ago. So not fall victim to magic and bullshit.No-religion is the one defining thing that the red communists got correct!
