I have found 7 Real Secrets to Life. They are very simple—LISTEN, READ, LOVE, FIGHT, BELIEVE, LIVE & PRAY. These are so “simple” because God meant life to be so simple. The problem is that we are the ones who do our best to complicate it.
LISTEN to God because he is calling you—yes, you! READ the BIBLE because it is our handbook on life. LOVE simply because God is love and he commands us to love. FIGHT because the devil is after your soul—as weird as this sounds. BELIEVE that you can do anything because the power of God is in you—yes, you! LIVE this life knowing it is only the opening act to eternity. And PRAY simply because it works!
Why are these secrets? Because they lead to a life that is happier, more fulfilling, and more peaceful. If they weren’t secrets everyone would be happier, more fulfilled, and more at peace. The world would be a far different place.
Is all this way too simple? YES!!! Once again, God designed life to be simple. We just can’t help but complicate it. That’s the human M.O.
I have my share of up and down days like everyone else. I certainly don’t walk about grinning all the time. However, falling back on these 7 Secrets to Life keeps me on the right path—even when I veer off it.
Where do you start? Simply (the “simple” word again!) find some quality time to LISTEN to/for God. You will hear him in your life if you just take the time to LISTEN.
