This is my annual musings on golf and God. No, this is not irreverent. I just try to look at life and relate everything back to God, because everything around us comes from God. And that includes the game of golf.
My theme this week for my golf game on vacation is to trust my swing. For those of you who don’t play golf, that means to swing the club, and follow through completely, not trying to steer or wish the golf ball down the fairway. You have to let go and trust your swing. And the same applies to faith and God. You have to let go and trust God. Golf may not be simple but life is—or, at least, God intends it to be simple. Let go, let God.
God commands us to do one simple thing—LOVE! Let go and trust God by loving. Swing away and trust your swing. Golf and God. The key is trust.
