There is nothing—and I mean NOTHING!!!—that should hold you back in life. You have the ability to go farther, do more in life than you ever thought possible. There is a greater you in you than you ever can imagine. You just need to believe and overcome the doubt. And you do that by getting even closer to God.
This isn’t some rah-rah, pat motivational post. It’s fact clear as day. We were wired to do more than we think we can do or even dream. The problem is we let the seeds of doubt grow in our minds and hearts, blocking out the dreams and providing insurmountable obstacles that we don’t even attempt to hurdle.
“Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be done.” Matthew 21:21
Jesus used the extreme, unbelievable case of lifting a mountain up and throwing it into the sea to make the point that we can do anything. We simply need to get past doubt, which is a cancer in our lives that holds us back from believing and doing.
You simply need to move closer to God, in both mind and heart, to overcome the doubt and clearly see all the possibilities in your life. It’s truly that simple. There’s no magic, nothing difficult, just spending some time finding God, who is less than a heartbeat away, and opening up.
Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine. Ephesians 3:20
