If you think that God means life to be so tough and difficult, then think again. He sent His ONLY SON to take away all our sins, past, present, and future. He, in essence, cleaned away all the bad stuff. He gave us a planet of beauty and providing for every need. What could go wrong? Us. That’s what goes wrong. Us.
Jesus said very clearly that he came to give us life in full in overcoming evil. “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10
We are the ones who screw up life. We are destroying us and our planet in the process. Don’t agree? Just look around the world. Jesus is shaking his head.
What to do about it? Change comes one person at a time. Each of us needs to change. We need to smile more. We need to help others, especially those in need. We need to be change agents for good. No matter who you are and what resources you have, we each need to do our part. It’s not that difficult.
God means life to be so simple. We so complicate it. Start today by uncomplicating your life and helping others do the same.
