It’s not hard. First, look in the mirror. There is Jesus. Next, look around you. There is Jesus. There, there, and there—in everyone you see.
In a few days we celebrate the birth of a child born into obscurity. But now we should be able to see that same child in ourselves and in every other person we encounter. He’s not obscure—if we don’t make Him obscure in our lives.
Jesus was born and died to save each one of us individually, and for His Spirit to dwell in us. What a perfect time of the year to rekindle that Spirit.
Don’t let this time go by without making sure all the lights of Christmas are also inside of you and burning outwards for all to see. Let Jesus in and out of you. Smile, give, serve. Look no further than yourself and everyone around you to see Jesus. Let Him be born in you as we celebrate His birth.
Have a wonderful few days leading to Christmas!
