Look around you. The world is a dark place. No matter where you turn, evil is having its day. There is only one way to lighten a dark world—Let your light shine. Don’t listen to me. Jesus said it best:
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
Just before he said that, Jesus said:
“Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.” Matthew 5:15
We are always looking to the other person. It’s time each one of us look to ourselves. Let your light shine. Let the goodness that is God within you out for all to see. Smile. Give. Help. Love.
