It’s pretty simple: The less God there is in this world the more chaos we see around us. As we push God out of our lives bad things happen. The world gets darker and we get lost. Wars, shootings, and downright hatred on the streets. That’s defining our world today because we choose to push God away. When you extinguish a light you are left with darkness. Simple.
I have written on many occasions that ours is the story of the Israelites aimlessly wandering the desert with no direction or hope—just a lot of bad things happening. For how long ago that was how very closely it shows us where we are today. Aimlessly wandering this earth with little to no direction. Our direction in life—God—has been pushed away.
I’m not spreading doom and gloom. There is a simple solution to what ails the world. God. Simple. But all so true.
Change starts one person at a time. One by one we simply need to bring God back into the world. Put Him first; not yourself. Follow His simple commandment to love. None of this is hard or rocket science. It’s just about not continually tripping over ourselves because we get in our own way. It starts with the 1st Real Secret to Life. LISTEN because God is calling for/to you. You have a direction and a special, unique purpose in life. You just need to understand and fulfill it.
