We all face challenges in life. The winds blow and the boat rocks, sometimes violently, as we get pounded by storms. The thing to keep top of mind is that God is always there for us.
He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed. Psalm 107:29
I know that this sounds really simplistic and like one big cliche. Someone telling you that when things get really tough just trust in God. But it’s so true! The simplicity is that God is always there for you if you just have a little faith and put your trust in him. He doesn’t make it difficult; we do.
And when he got into the boat, his disciples followed him. And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but he was asleep. And they went and woke him, saying, “Save us, Lord; we are perishing.” And he said to them, “Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?” Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. And the men marveled, saying, “What sort of man is this, that even winds and sea obey him?” Matthew 8:23-27
Trust me—I know that this is not always easy to do. I’m dolling out advice that I sometimes have trouble following. But I also know that if you fight though the doubt that feeds the storms in your life God is there. He is always there. You just have to call out to God and LISTEN for Him. BELIEVE and LISTEN!

God brings incredible peace to our lives if we will only let God into our lives.
