No trick question. The answer should be quick and simple. God. He should be at the center of every life.
I love my family; my world revolves around them. But God is at the center of my life. He puts into perspective the love I have for my family, a love that is in the context of my love of Creator, Savior, and Advocate—God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
As I have written many times, I am no saint or angel! I lose my way just like others. On occasion, God slips from the center of my life. And in the process my life gets out of kilter.
There’s a reason Jesus talks about leaving family and brother set against brother. He is making the point that God comes first, and with that everything falls in place. My love of my family is greater because my love of God, and putting him at the center of my life.
If you don’t think about God during the day, and even stop to LISTEN for/to God, he can’t possibly be at the center of your life—or anywhere close to the center.
Have a great day, a day with God at the center of your life—or at least moving to the center.
