We are living through the passing of a man who changed the world. Nelson Mandela endured torture and imprisonment to change his world. He’s a very special man but he is only a man.
We all have a “Mandela” in us. Each one of us can change the world. I guarantee that most reading this are thinking, “I can’t change the world!” That’s because we let doubt hold us back from realizing our true calling in life. We let doubt trump any belief that we can make a difference or even dream to change the world. I have some of the very same doubt writing this, to be totally honest. That’s because we always have a whisper in our ear saying, “Don’t be silly!” “You can’t” followed by a hundred reasons later are the anchors in our life weighing us down.
I have written many pieces about this but the devil loves to hold us back. If we never realize our true calling we are never totally happy, at peace, or fulfilled. We are always looking for something else, and many times looking in all the wrong places. A world of unhappy, fighting, and longing people is a world the devil loves. He can pick off souls like ducks in a shooting gallery. He loves this current world of ours!
I will say it again—you can change the world. Yes, I mean you! You simply need to LISTEN for/to God to understand your calling and purpose. Then, you need to BELIEVE that God made you, is a part of you, and that you can move mountains. FIGHT the devil’s whisper of doubt by LISTENing to God. He will drown out those whispers if you just tune in.
Make today the day that you resolve to start changing your world. You can move mountains if you only BELIEVE!
“Have faith in God. Truly I tell you, if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and you do not doubt in your heart, but believe that what you say will come to pass, it will be done for you.” Mark 11:23
