We judge books by their covers, without reading the book itself. We do the same with people—we look at the physical without trying to see the soul. And I admit that I am the worst offender. Sometimes I don’t even get past the clothes!
We are much more than our physical selves. In fact, our physical selves slowly decay over time. We can’t even take our physical selves with us when we die. They stay behind. Only our true inner selves—our souls—stay with us. Because that is the essence of what we are!
Try to look at souls today; past the physical. Way past the clothes. And as you try to look at souls think of yourself for what you are—a soul first and foremost.
See souls and be a soul. Be what you really are.
Take care of your body because it houses your soul. But make sure you take care of that soul and let it shine.
Have a great soulful day!
