God Never Turns His Back!

Just a short but powerful thought for the day…

The greatest fallback in life is this—God NEVER turns his back on us. And I mean NEVER! Whenever I struggle a bit, like I am doing now, I am always reassured that God is right here—in me. And in case you don’t know it, God is in you as well.

We do the turning; God doesn’t. If you’re fumbling around in life in any way you simply have to go inside yourself to find God. He made you and is part of every DNA strand you have. If you take the time to search and LISTEN for and to God you will find and hear him. God is such an integral part of our lives, woven into the very fabric of our being. The only way we lose God in our lives is when we constantly turn our backs on him. Trust me—been there, done that on too many occasions.

It’s just so incredibly reassuring when you come to realize that God is less than a heartbeat away. We may take a vacation from him at times, but he is always at home within us.

This has helped me as I struggle with my 85-year old mom in the hospital and all the emotions that has released. I hope this helps you. God is there for you if you just stop turning your back. He never turns his.
