No, I don’t mean today. I mean everyday! When you say goodnight to a day gone by it’s a day that will never happen again. Like today and the next day, each day is totally 100% unique. Each brings its own ups and downs. You can never really 100% repeat a day.
Enjoy each day. In fact, if you treat each day as your last, you’ll enjoy it even more. That’s not meant to be a depressing thought—it’s meant to be an uplifting thought.
God created each day, so enjoy it to the max.
This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
I try to remember to repeat that verse each day I hop out of bed. Yes, I have my “bad” days like we all do. But I won’t let anything spoil each unique day. If you want to feel “bad” about a day, I guarantee you will. But if you try to smile and really focus on the soothing words in Psalm 118:24 I guarantee that a ray of sunlight will shine on your day. Try it; you may like it.
