Jesus. I love my wife and daughter to death but Jesus literally loved me to his death. When I focus my love on him, my whole life becomes lighter and clear. It puts my love for my wife and daughter, and everyone else in my life, in a new light.

Easter is a wonderful time to rethink where the light is in our life. As an increasing secular world casts doubt and darkness on the events of 2000 years ago, it’s important to know where our light is and to reflect it off of ourselves to fight the darkness enveloping the world.
No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. Matthew 5:15
