We all have a purpose in life. It’s a God-given purpose. No matter how seemingly insignificant or earth-moving the world may deem that purpose, God deems your purpose to be special and unique. You’re not a puppet on God’s strings fulfilling that purpose. You have total free will in living your life. But there’s a road for you that is one of a kind and untraveled.
You won’t find that road and start fulfilling your life purpose unless you LISTEN for and to God. In case you don’t know it, God is calling you. He’s calling you, me, and every other person on this planet. The problem is we don’t take the time or even really try to LISTEN.
Jesus escaped to the quiet of the desert for 40 days to find his purpose. He shut out the world except for the temptation of the devil, who tried every trick to stop Jesus from finding his purpose in life. The devil doesn’t want Jesus or anyone else living their God-given purpose. Thankfully for us, Jesus shut out the whisperings and came out of the desert ready to fulfill his purpose in life.
If you don’t LISTEN you won’t hear God. And without God you won’t find your God-given purpose in life. You have to take the time and LISTEN.
If we all knew our God-given purpose in life this world would be a vastly different place. It would be heaven on earth. I know—wishful thinking! However, change won’t happen unless it first starts at home. And that means with you!
In this New Year, carve out some time to LISTEN for/to God and find your purpose in life; if you don’t already know it. Life will become happier, more fulfilling, and peaceful in the process. And if you spread the word to others, you may just start changing the world.
I know—some of this may be tough to swallow. Well, that most likely is the devil of doubt trying his best to keep you from finding and living your purpose in life. The last thing the devil wants is a better world. Like Jesus, don’t let the devil get in your way.
Have a wonderful, purpose-driven day!
