This says it all:
No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. Matthew 6:24
The choice is all yours. This doesn’t mean you have to be poor if you pick God. It simply means that in life you choose who to follow: God or wealth. Your choice?
The question is as black and white as it seems. You either orient your life towards God or you make wealth your god. The quote from Matthew is so clear and very simple.
As I said, you don’t have to be poor to have God as your priority in life. You can make God #1 in your life and make a lot of money. You simply have to pick, and remember, who or what is the most important thing in your life. It’s all about where your priority is in life.
