And you should answer, “I can do ANYTHING!!!” Because you can. The Bible and history are filled with ordinary people who have done extraordinary things. Noah, Abraham, Joseph, Moses, Peter, and Paul. Saved mankind from destruction, fathered a people under God, saved the same people, led the people out of captivity to the Promised Land, was the rock of a new church of people, and brought the message of God to all peoples. A little peasant girl (Joan of Arc) under the age of twenty led her country in battle. Today, another little girl (Malala Yousafzai) under the age of twenty is leading the world in battle against ignorance. You can’t do something? Think again!!!
You can do anything. Why? Because God made you and is in you. He is part of your very fabric, whether you believe that or not. With God, what can’t you do? Think about that.
Moses argued with God that he couldn’t do what God asked him to do. You can argue all you want to with God but it is all in vain. God has a plan for you and it involves doing extraordinary things. The only thing holding you back is you, and the doubt the devil whispers in your ear.
Imagine if the world was filled with people—a lot of “ordinary” people—doing extraordinary things. The world would be a vastly different place—a place much for the better.
You can make a difference in the world because you can do anything. God is pushing and pulling you forward. You just need to get you out of God’s way for you.
