Saved mankind from destruction, fathered a people under God, saved the same people, led the people out of captivity to the Promised Land, was the rock of a new church of people, and brought the message of God to all peoples. A little peasant girl (Joan of Arc) under the age of twenty led her country in battle. Be Strong & Bold!
Just one quick but good thought for the day…
Be strong and bold… because it is the Lord your God who goes with you; he will not fail or forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6
These were among Moses parting words to the Israelites when he told them that they would be crossing over into new land—the Promised Land.
A new anything—job, move, etc.—can seem daunting. But be strong and bold moving forward. God goes with you if you keep Him with you.
Your Promised Land waits!
Is the Lord Among Us or Not?
“What kind of question is that? It’s the question (Exodus 17:7) that the Israelites asked all the time as they wandered the desert for 40 years. It’s the question buried in the devil’s temptation of Jesus in his desert of 40 days. It’s the question that we ask as we wander the deserts in our own lives. There’s a consistent theme at play here—wandering and questioning. As long as we wander our deserts we will ask the same question—Is God really with us, if he’s real at all?—or simply stop asking because God is nothing to us. Whatever You Face, the Lord is Always With You—And I Mean ALWAYS!
The Lord is always with you. You may not be with the Lord, but God is ALWAYS with you! The Lord never leaves us. We leave him. Just like he commanded Joshua after the death of Moses, God is talking to us right now:
