I learned this week that it’s not enough to believe in Jesus and follow his command to LOVE. You have to actively let Jesus into your life. He’s always a heartbeat away but you have to bring him into your heart. No religious mumbo-jumbo; just practical advice on how to live life to the fullest and conquer any obstacles.
You can do anything, overcome anything that life throws at you but you have to believe and cast all doubt aside. That means going “all in” with Jesus and bringing him “all in” to your life. As I have written before, you need to visualize pulling the nails out of the cross, taking Jesus down, and letting him rise into your life.
I know this sounds like so much religious theory and not practical advice on how to live. But give it a chance and try it. Go through the process of taking Jesus down from the cross and letting him into your life like never before. Open up your mind and heart and invite Jesus into your life. I guarantee if you give this the time and bear your soul the results will be dramatic.
I’m not out to fool anyone or hover 20 feet off the ground. I slip up all the time. That’s part of being human. But I at least know what to do to move forward in life after I slide back a step or two.
You can do anything if you simply let Jesus in!
