Look, I don’t know whether Tim Tebow is an NFL quarterback. I do know that, regardless of his “throwing mechanics,” all Tim Tebow has done his entire life is win games as a quarterback. But people, especially the sports writers, love to rail against Tim Tebow. Not just because of his ability to play quarterback in the NFL but because he truly lives his Christianity. And that makes a lot of people very uncomfortable.
Some people talk Christianity but don’t walk it. Not Tim Tebow. He speaks his mind about Jesus Christ being his Savior and having a plan for him and every other person on this earth. He has a foundation with a mission to “bring Faith, Hope and Love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need.” He builds hospitals in countries in need and reaches out to individuals with special needs. He has brought smiles to so many by touching, and in many cases, visiting them personally. He simply walks his Christian talk.
Tim Tebow is just a good guy. A shining light to children who have so many bad role models. He doesn’t get bitter at those being negative about him; he just smiles and stays positive. We should be cheering Tim Tebow on to keep winning and stay in the public eye as a positive role model. I’m a NY Giants fan, and don’t exactly like the Eagles, but I will become the biggest Philadelphia fan if Tim Tebow makes the team.
We need more Tim Tebows in our world. It says a lot about people who are cheering him on or railing against him. His ability to play quarterback in the NFL will talk for itself if he gets another shot to prove himself, like he did in Denver. His ability to really live his faith is on display all the time as a genuine Christian, regardless of what happens to his football career.
Take a lesson from Tim Tebow—walk your Christianity; don’t just talk it!
