When we think of words to describe God we typically think of all-powerful, all-mighty, creator, infinite, all knowing, etc. God is often described in words that are removed and almost cold. There are twists and turns on the road of life—most unexpected. In order to stay on course we need a handbook. That is exactly what we have been given by God. He has given us his Word in a handbook. He has given us the Bible.
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
It took me fifty years to realize that God is calling me. In fact, it took me that long to realize that God had been calling me throughout my entire life. I simply did not hear the call because I was not paying attention.
I was too busy. I was too absorbed in myself and the world around me. I complicated life way too much.
