Jeremiah hit the nail on the head when he said, “There is hope in your future” (Jeremiah 31:17). That hope is Jesus. Whatever you are going through in life there is always hope. Look no further than Jesus.
I’m going through a bit of a tough time beating myself up about what I should not be doing and what I should be doing better. I can forgive everyone around me except for me. My problem doesn’t start with “forgiving” but with “forgetting” that the entire reason for Jesus was to die for the forgiveness of our sins and to lead us to the hope of a better day—and life when this one ends.
Forgiveness and hope go hand in hand. Start by forgiving yourself for what you have done and did not do. Then, extend that forgiveness to others. You’ll find that what you are left with is hope that gets fulfilled. The day becomes clearer, brighter, and more awe-inspiring. At least that’s what I am finding now.
No matter what bumps you may have in your road, know that there is always hope. That hope is Jesus Christ, who came to forgive and shine the light on today and tomorrow.
Have a GREAT week filled with hope!
