In the Beginning… Amen. First and Last Words of the Bible and Your Life.
The first and last words in the Bible are, “In the beginning” and “Amen” (Genesis 1:1 and Revelation 22:21). The lessons in between those words are a lesson on life. And each of our lives start with “In the beginning…” and end in “Amen.” In between is the story of each of our lives. How we live—what we learn from the lessons in the Bible, if anything—is the story of our life.
“Amen” and life is over but then a new life begins. Where we spend that life in eternity depends on how we live this life and what we have leaned from beginning to Amen end.

It can’t be any clearer—“I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10). Those are Jesus words to us. So simple but so meaningful. He’s telling us to relax; He’s got this.
