I try to look at my life each day but life tends to get in the way. Meaning, the chaos of my professional and personal “lives” tends to drown out the daily look back on where I have been and where I am heading in life. That’s part of the problem as I look back on 2015 and try to plot a course ahead for 2016. That’s why I find myself falling back on the Secrets to Life—and I mean the Real Secrets to Life. Don’t Conform; Transform!
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2
This is one of the best Bible verses to live your life by day in, day out. Don’t conform to the world but transform yourself by renewing your thinking in concert with God. My Greeting from God After My Vacation from Him!
I took some time off last week from work and, as it turned out, from God. I didn’t start out planning a vacation from God; in fact, I was planning just the opposite. It was like I was trying to get away from everything, except for my wife who was physically with me. So, when I got back home God greeted me with his thoughts starting with a scripture verse that screamed at me. Continue reading “My Greeting from God After My Vacation from Him!”

You need to know those before you try, or simply dismiss prayer as not working. Continue reading “There is Real Power in Prayer”
Why Pray?

Your Father knows what you need before you ask him. Matthew 6:8
So, why pray? Continue reading “Why Pray?”
Does prayer work?
“Whatever you ask for in prayer with faith, you will receive.” Matthew 21: 22
Prayer works. It is that simple. There is nothing complicated about it. Find out for yourself. Pray.
Elijah was a human being like us, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. Then he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain and the earth yielded its harvest. James 5:17-18
Prayer is not like Continue reading “Does prayer work?”
