Funny way to start a blog post, especially when I have been absent lately. And not very descriptive or creative. Jesus. What’s that all about anyway?
There is one name to call when you need help or guidance of any kind. Jesus. Nothing more. Jesus. It’s the most powerful name past, present, and future. Jesus. Just call Him and He will be there.
I know, I know, I know. This sounds all too pat and simplistic. Well, that’s exactly the message. It is simple. I write this so much I sound like a broken record to me! God intends life to be so very simple but we are the ones who complicate it. We over think, over live, and over everything. We’re not good at streamlining and simplifying life. Like a junk closet, we keep hoarding everything—emotions, would-of-could-ofs, feelings, etc. We don’t throw anything out in our lives; just stuff more into the closets that are our lives.
Jesus, Simple but all so very powerful. He’s never more than a heartbeat away. You just need to call out His name and meditate on it. Ask for help, direction, or anything else (including thanking Him). Or just bask in the glow of His light and warmth. Jesus. It’s that simple.
Find a quiet time and spot today. Jesus. That’s all you need to think about. The results will be amazing. Simple? Yes. Very.
Came upon this and says it all. Get in the game, believe, and you can do anything!
Clothed in His grace we can do all things, whether to give a talk, go to Africa, battle an illness, kick a habit, lay hands on the sick, or love somebody that drives us crazy. We just believe and get our carcasses to the starting gate. Elizabeth Mulloy, Divine Love Song
God created you. God is in you. God is woven into your very fabric. So, it stands to reason that you can do anything if you just BELIEVE that God is not only in you but is also behind you pushing. As Mets pitcher Tug McGraw years ago immortalized, “Ya Gotta Believe!” Of course, he was talking about baseball. I am talking about life. But the same words hold true—Ya Gotta Believe!!!
“You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.” Matthew 17:20
Doubt is the universal cancer eating away at your amazing potential in life. I guarantee that almost all reading this now have doubts. “I can’t move mountains.”“That’s silly.”“I can’t do this or that.” Well, I beg to differ. BELIEVE and let it wipe all doubt away. You can move mountains. It’s all about harnessing that power of God in you. It’s in you!
Have a great week. Let belief rule this week, wiping all doubt away. And move some mountains!!! I know you can. Better yet—God knows you can and will if you just BELIEVE!
Let me make this very clear—You can move mountains in your life! God made you, is in you, and has built power in you that few realize or understand. You can do anything. The only thing holding you back is you—and doubt. My bet is that right now doubt is in your mind saying, “This is nonsense.” Continue reading →
Each one of us has a special, unique purpose in life. Understanding that is key to life. Living that purpose is the real joy in life. We are lost souls until we understand God’s purpose for us. Living that purpose brings real joy, fulfillment, and peace in life. Life is that simple; the way God means it to be for each one of us. Continue reading →
You may think that Jesus was the only person nailed to the cross but you are right there with him. That is, your sins are nailed there as well. And they are your sins so you are nailed as well. The trick is how you get down. Continue reading →
I know people get tired of me saying this but you can do anything, be anyone. You just need to BELIEVE. You need to have faith.
The problem is doubt. I guarantee that as you read this right now you have doubt. The idea of faith allowing us to do seemingly impossible things—do anything, be anyone—sounds absurd. That is exactly the Continue reading →
