Jesus on Memorial Day

Just before he sacrificed his life for you and me, Jesus summed up the best thought for Memorial Day…

No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. John 15:13

We need to think about all the men and women who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom. Unlike Jesus, most are unknown except to family and friends.

This is a day to say a prayer of thanks to all have given so much for us. Let’s remember them in a special way this Memorial Day.
