Don’t Conform; Transform!

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2

This is one of the best Bible verses to live your life by day in, day out. Don’t conform to the world but transform yourself by renewing your thinking in concert with God. Live to get in sync to God, not the world. Lead, don’t follow. Speak up, don’t stay silent. This is my new saying to meditate on, especially when life gets a bit rocky. What it means is that everything in life—how to LIVE it in general; how to think, how to interact with others, etc.—flows from Jesus. Gotta Love Tim Tebow!

We need more Tim Tebows in this world. I’m sure he’s not a saint—we all have our demons—but he seems to do the right thing. In this case, bringing some joy to a young woman who has struggled with a terrible disease since she was 15. When some NFL owner gets the courage, and wisdom, to put Tim Tebow on his team, that team will win—just like every other team Tim Tebow has played on since pony league. In the meantime, it’s great to see the joy Tim Tebow spreads. Check it out here.

You can live by your body or your soul. It’s that simple. Live with your body ruling and bodily pleasures rule.
