As I have said/written thousands of times, God means life to be so very simple. We are the ones who complicate it. Like a closet or basement, we accumulate “junk” that we don’t use but that crowds out useful living space. If you are looking for peace in your life, “Be still, and know that I am God!” This is a very simple yet very powerful verse (Psalm 46:10). And the most important part of it is the “!” at the end that makes it such an emphatic statement — just stop your world, be still for a few minutes, and know God!
